Save our Seas

"Unless changes are taken now to reverse the threats facing our oceans and seas, all fish and seafood species are projected to collapse by 2048." Science journal

More than one billion individual around the world rely on marine life for their survival in one way or another. Most people do not realize that one day the vast oceans and seas will be empty of fish one day, and those who know do not know that it will happen that soon.

Our oceans and seas are facing by a number of problems, such as over-fishing, pollution, coastal and habitat destruction, and even climate change. IndyAct started with a group of independent activist working on the worst environmental disaster to hit the Mediterranean sea, the July 2006 Lebanon Oil Spill.

Now IndyAct continues to work on the problems and threats facing Lebanon's coast.
